Our Lives app for iPhone and iPad

Our Lives is an app meant to share the experiences of regular people from across the world their stories they never get to tell or deserve attention. An app that is specifically user-driven from regular contributors to share their lives under the anonymity of a special username (or their real names) for unique storytelling told in their own words for people to read and appreciate.

Reality television series have dominated the TV landscape for years because people generally love to experience the lives of the rich and famous through the lens of their TV screens. Social networking has done the same with the lavish lifestyles they love to reveal to their followers. Their lives pique the interest of the general population because people are curious to know their personal stories and live through their experiences. However, there is an obvious disconnect between the famous and everyday people. That type of thinking is the exact inspiration for Our Lives. To share the uncommon, unique, and fascinating stories regular people have experienced. There is a category for everyone to share their story, with more coming along the way.

Create an account with a valid email, password, and username in order to start sharing your stories and reading others for your pleasure. Once signed in, users will view a screen page of different categories that range from Love to Supernatural. Whether its submitting your own personal story, or scrolling through to find your favorite, I hope everyone can find some enjoyment in what they share, or read.

Features:

• Use the search bar to find your favorite story titles under each category in the app

• Like, or unlike your favorite posts using the diamond icon to show your appreciation

• When viewing stories, you can follow/unfollow different users who submitted their story to continue reading their exciting new stories within your favorite category

• You can easily delete/edit your posts by tapping the scroll icon on the toolbar, which will lead to your personally submitted stories

• The scroll icon also leads you to a list of users youre currently following and provides all of their submitted stories unique to each category

• If you do submit your own story, titles must be at least 10 characters long, but cannot exceed 48 characters and the body 200 in order to successfully submit your story

• Depending how you wish to type your story, landscape mode is enabled for easier writing when posting, viewing or editing stories
